Conference of Women Legislators’ scholarships are for women 25 years of age or older, who are Illinois residents, with plans to attend an accredited school in Illinois for at least six semester hours, either on-campus or online. COWL endeavors to support women of all income levels who, for various reasons, have not had the opportunity to begin or complete their education.
Applications must be postmarked by no later than April 30.

This application is for students seeking an undergraduate degree. Applicants should be an accepted student at an accredited institution of higher learning to include community colleges, private institutions and certified vocational training programs. ILBC Members, ILBC employees, ILBC Foundation board members, and their immediate relatives are ineligible for the scholarship program.
