The Senior Health and Resource Fair is coming up on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Tuley Park.

We'll be offering a variety of free health screenings, including diabetes, blood pressure and vision screenings.

Eddie L. Jones Prostate Cancer Awareness Fair THIS SATURDAY

The Eddie L. Jones Prostate Cancer Awareness Fair is THIS SATURDAY, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Corliss Early STEM High School.

There will be FREE screenings, and it will be a great opportunity to learn more about prostate cancer. See you there.

GRANT OPPORTUNITY: Illinois Helping Everyone Access Linked Systems (HEALS)

The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for support cross-system projects that improve the identification and coordination of care for children, youth, and families impacted by violence. Grants will be made with VICTIMS OF CRIME ACT FY 17 funds. A total of $2.7 million in funding is available through this solicitation for use over a period of nine months. Cross-system projects applicants can apply for funding ranging from $150,000 to $500,000.
