new testing sites graphic

My colleagues and I continue to advocate fiercely with the governor, local leaders, and health agencies to open more testing sites in minority neighborhoods and ensure that adequate resources — such as masks and hand sanitizer — are being delivered to communities that need them most.

I am pleased to share that over the next few weeks the City of Chicago will open six new testing sites, all of which will serve black and brown neighborhoods. This is part of an effort to expand testing to communities disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The six locations are listed below:

● Gately Park, Pullman
● Guaranteed Rate Field, Bridgeport
● Maria Saucedo Scholastic Academy, Little Village
● Dr. Jorge Prieto Math and Science Academy, Belmont Cragin
● Kennedy-King College, Englewood
● Senka Park, Gage Park

The testing location in the parking lot of Guaranteed Rate Field will be drive-thru only and will specifically serve asymptomatic first responders, health care professionals and other essential workers in Chicago. All other testing sites will have the option of a walk-up visit.
