Expose. Train. Develop. Honored to have an amazing young man from the District “shadow” me for the day. He had the opportunity to participate in legislative and budget negotiations as well as witnessing floor debate as I passed another Criminal Justice Reform bill.

Our young people must be exposed to different experiences if they are going to visualize themselves achieving their dreams. Today I had the pleasure of welcoming some students from “Our American Values” to the Capitol as they came to see their government in action.
